Rwenzori Mountains National Park The legendary “Mountains of the moon” is Africa’s highest mountain range and offers a majestic scenery reminding of a science fiction film.
Mt. Margherita reaching an elevation of 5109 m is the third-highest Mountain in Africa and hikers rate the Rwenzoris as the most challenging of all African mountains. The trails leads though rainforest chattering with monkeys and birds, through bamboo forests, moorland, alpine bogs, towered by a summit of black rock.
