Photographic Safaris in Tanzania
We can arrange and provide very special and personal photographic safaris that are tailor made to suit the client's preference, whether it be for capturing images of wildlife, flora and fauna, or Tanzanian culture. Consider the fact that Tanzania hosts more than 1000 bird species, numerous creatures of all shapes and sizes and a range of scenery with geographic features that are simply mind-blowing. What can we provide? The answers are
• short stay and long stay safaris
• well maintained 4 x 4 all terrain vehicles and loyal drivers with a wealth of knowledge of all the major parks and their wildlife
• a wildlife photographer with some 20 years experience of photography to act as personal tour leader
• opportunities for very close up photography with the emphasis upon capturing the very best images
• budget camping or at the opposite end of the scale, luxury Lodge accommodation
The list of places to visit is endless but here are just a few possibilities:
• Arusha National Park at certain times of the year, but specifically in September photograph flamingoes in the alkaline Momela Lakes with Mt. Kilimanjaro in the background
• at Tarangire Nationalpark follow and photograph the huge herds of elephant which come down to the River Tarangire to drink. The trees are abundant and majestic - watch out for leopard!
• Lake Manyara National Park with some of the 380 species of bird to be seen here including thousands of flamingoes and storks in Febvruary time.
• Serengeti National Park: experience and photograph the massive migration of nearly two and a half million animals twice a year. Opportunities abound for photography of lion and cheetah here. Serengeti Balloon Safari, an expensive but very enjoyable way of photographing from above the treetops.
• Ngorongoro Crater, a day trip to the caldera should mean that you could fill a hundred photographic albums.
• Crater Highlands for spectacular landscape photography especially at sunrise and sunset
• Night drive photography, photograph the nocturnal creatures such as porcupine, spring hares and serval.
• Also the cultural bomas to photograph the Maasai people. And much, much more....
Karibu Tanzanian photography!
