Mt. Kilimanjaro – the Roof of Africa mountain climbing Walk up the world’s largest free-standing mountain through rain forest, giant heathers, into moorland, alpine bogs and eventually onto stark desert landscape before tackling the slopes towards the glaciers of Kibo. The highest point of Africa is Uhuru Peak at 5895 meters above sea level. The most popular route, and recommended for less experienced hill walkers, is the Marangu route. Other ways up include the Machame route or the more challenging Lemosho, Rongai and Umbwe routes.

We also arrange one day climbs of the volcanoes Mount Hanang (extinct) and Ol Doinyo Lengai (active).
