Dighton is the 3rd generation born, raised and educated in East Africa. His knowledge and experience in wildlife safaris was gained through a childhood spent living in Tanzania's top national parks. His dad, Bob Brown, worked for the Tanzania National Parks.They lived in Lake Manyara National Park, Tarangire National Park, Arusha ( Momella ) National Park, shorter periods of 3 months or so were spent in other parks, such as Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Selous, Mkomazi and Lake Rukwa. Dighton personally has worked in some of the top lodges and Private Game Reserves in South Afrika.
